MentorScape Project Results Presented to Educators in Türkiye

On 5 February 2026, a dissemination event for the Erasmus+ project “MentorScape: Crafting Bias-Free Classrooms in Europe” was organised in Türkiye, bringing together teachers and education professionals interested in inclusive teaching practices.

The event aimed to share the main results of the project, including the Bias-Free Classrooms Teacher’s Handbook and the Mentorship Program, which support teachers in recognising and addressing unconscious bias in education.

Participants explored practical classroom scenarios and discussed how bias can influence student participation, expectations, and learning outcomes. The tools presented during the session were designed to be easy to apply and adaptable to different classroom contexts.

Particular emphasis was placed on the mentorship model, which encourages teachers to support each other through peer reflection, observation, and shared learning. This approach was recognised as especially valuable in contexts where formal training opportunities may be limited.

The event concluded with a discussion on how the project results can be integrated into everyday teaching practice, with participants expressing strong interest in continuing to use and share the developed resources.
