MentorScape Project Results Shared with Local Community in Spain

On 17 February 2026, a dissemination event was organised in Spain as part of the Erasmus+ project “MentorScape: Crafting Bias-Free Classrooms in Europe.” The event brought together teachers, local stakeholders, and members of the community to present the outcomes of the project.

The session focused on the introduction of the Teacher’s Handbook and the Mentorship Program, both developed to support educators in creating inclusive and bias-aware classrooms. Participants were presented with practical tools and activities that can be easily integrated into everyday teaching practice.

A key highlight of the event was the discussion on how unconscious bias can influence classroom dynamics, including student participation, teacher expectations, and access to learning opportunities. The mentorship model was also presented as a sustainable approach to professional development, enabling teachers to support each other through reflection and peer learning.

The event included an interactive discussion where participants shared their perspectives and experiences, contributing to a rich exchange of ideas on inclusive education.

The strong engagement from the local community confirmed the importance of the project’s objectives and demonstrated the potential for continued use of the developed resources in Spanish schools.
